The Class of 2023 is a high-achieving, motivated, and heart-felt group of significant contributors to the heat treat market. Here are two highlights from this year’s class.

Paul Calhoun is the Heat Treat Materials Engineer at Mercury Marine. Paul was brought to the company to run the new, state-of- the-art LPC and HPGQ system produced by ECM USA, Inc. Currently, he oversees the heat treat metallurgical laboratory and is responsible for all heat treat product testing. Read more about Paul here.

Juan Eliseo Cruz Ortega is the manager of Operations for Mexico & South America at ECM USA, Inc. He is results-driven and has a high standard of leadership, in fact his strong negotiation skills won many projects for ALD, such as the LPC treatment lines at Ford MoCo in Irapuato, Guanjuato, Mexico.
