- Allison D’Angelo has spent the past seven years driving marketing strategy and design innovation at ECM USA, Inc., where she serves as senior marketing & graphic designer. Blending technical understanding with creative expertise, Allison has played a pivotal role in modernizing ECM USA’s brand presence and increasing visibility across North America, Canada, and Mexico. Her work spans digital campaigns, SEO optimization, client testimonials, and targeted communications focused on vacuum heat treating and thermal processing technologies.
- Allison leads all marketing initiatives for ECM USA and collaborates closely with the ECM Group to ensure brand consistency and technical credibility. She has successfully managed the company’s presence at key industry tradeshows, overseeing booth design, event logistics, and client engagement, all while maintaining a sharp focus on detail and high-impact visuals.

Matt Geddes - Regional Operations Manager, Detroit Flame Hardening Company

- Matt Geddes has dedicated over 13 years to the heat treat industry, steadily rising through the ranks at Detroit Flame Hardening Company. Starting as a flame hardener in 2012, Matt quickly advanced to plant manager in 2019, then general manager in 2023, and most recently was promoted to regional operations manager in 2025. He now oversees operations at both the Detroit and Cincinnati locations and has plans to continue his upward trajectory by completing MTI’s YES program in the future.
- His expertise in flame hardening, leadership, and quality standards has been a cornerstone of his company’s reputation for precision and reliability. Under his leadership, the heat treat department has consistently exceeded production targets while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. He deeply cares for the future of the company and the heat treat industry.
