40 Under 40 Class of 2021 Highlights: David Reger and Erick Tron
Heat Treat Today is privileged to oversee the 40 Under 40 recognition awards highlighting a group of rising young leaders in the North American heat treat industry every year. The Class of 2021 is a high-achieving, motivated, and heart-felt group of significant contributors to the heat treat market. Here are two highlights from this year’s class.
David Reger is the president at Winston Heat Treating, Inc. Becoming president in 2017, David has grown the company in size, sales, and scope. Under his leadership, Winston has earned Merit status, expanded its aerospace and tooling base, and achieved national recognition as 2017’s Commercial Heat Treater of the Year. Read more about David here.

Erick Tron is the engineering leader at Paulo. Erick’s initiative shows in how he is willing to teach all he knows to others, helping them to develop their own self confidence and thus achieve a full cross-trained, safe (and fun) environment. Erick always arrives before the official shift starts and only calls it a day after his direct reports are well connected for the next shift. He never hesitates in offering help and service to any department and will always set an example by jumping into a problem immediately, no matter the complications. Read more about Erick here.
