SonFlow to Receive Vacuum Furnace for New Brazing Solutions 

 A Scandinavian manufacturer of heat exchangers, SonFlow will receive a vacuum furnace from the parent company of a North American manufacturer for copper brazing adapted to the individual needs of the company's clients. A special nozzle design and electrical penetration assembly will ensure that the device is specific for the production of the latest, high-capacity plate heat exchangers for industrial, HVAC, off-shore and sanitary purposes to be manufactured in the Kolding plant.

40 Under 40 Class of 2020 Highlights: Kyle Moore and Shane Parrish

Heat Treat Today is privileged to oversee the 40 Under 40 recognition awards highlighting a group of rising young leaders in the North American heat treat industry every year. The Class of 2020 is a high-achieving, motivated, and heart-felt group of significant contributors to the heat treat market. Here are two highlights from this year’s class.

Kyle Moore is a plant manager at Paulo.  Kyle has a tenacious focus on improving the customer experience and plant performance. He pioneered a new loading method for continuous belt heat treating, and he continues to lead his team to improve that method. Read more about Kyle here.

Shane Parrish is the facility manager at Metlab. While attending engineering classes at night, he runs the maintenance operations in the plant, provides equipment modification ideas and is a hands-on asset in keeping the plant running.
